About

"A simple act of kindness can change someone's world."
—Jayla Pitts

Beautiful Beginnings
Project Beautiful is a movement that began in 2021 from the heart of then seven-year-old, Jayla Pitts, to empower those who are unhoused to feel confident, beautiful, and special. Jayla has always had a giving heart and wanted to do something unique for those who have fallen on hard times and are in need of a smile. Jayla recognized that so much of one's motivation and belief in themselves stems from feelings of confidence and dignity. Jayla believed if she could bottle up those sentiments and provide them to those most in need, maybe it would help them to believe more in themselves to embark upon a new journey forward! From there, Project Beautiful was born!

Beautiful Journey and The JP3 Foundation Incorporated
The JP3 Foundation Incorporated is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established by Jayla and her siblings, Jack and Julianna, to connect people to kindness and kindness to people. In addition to assisting with Project Beautiful, Jack and Julianna are also engaged in their own charitable efforts which operate under the umbrella of The JP3 Foundation Incorporated.
Since he was eight years old, Jack has organized an annual winter weather gear campaign to warm those who are unhoused and without proper cold weather garments. Jack's efforts have benefited hundreds of men, women, and children receiving supportive services through Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children (Paterson, NJ) and Toni's Kitchen (Montclair, NJ). The JP3 Foundation Inc. accepts donations of coats and winter gear for unhoused men, women, and children year-round.

Julianna's charitable efforts support children, ages 2 - 12, receiving infusion medication for pediatric rheumatological conditions, as well as other auto-immune and inflammatory conditions, in the pediatric infusion unit of the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center (Hackensack, NJ). This medication is administered to the children through an IV and they are often in the hospital for hours at a time. Julianna collects stuffed animals/squishes, blankets and toys - such as books, quiet fidgets, playdoh, legos, puzzles and coloring books - to help the time pass as the children receive their medication. The JP3 Foundation Incorporated accepts donations to benefit this effort year-round.
Together, Jack, Jayla and Julianna are the kindness which fuels The JP3 Foundation Incorporated. They invite you to join their movement to connect people to kindness and kindness to people!

"Project Beautiful has done amazing work to bring hope to the women and children who come to Oasis. Jack, Jayla and Julianna have created a very special project to bring joy and love to some of our most vulnerable neighbors. Their compassion and kindness shines through!"
