Mothers who are unhoused carry the tremendous additional weight of keeping their family safely together while simultaneously trying to get themselves and their lives back on track. On Valentine's Day 2024, Project Beautiful partnered with The Montclair Diner to present its first annual Beautiful Breakfast to this deserving population of women, and their children, who receive supportive services through Hope Residence at Eva's Village.

 

Hope Residence is one of three halfway houses in New Jersey that offers unhoused mothers the opportunity to work on their journey to independence in an environment that also allows them to care for their children. While the mothers receive supportive services, job training and other empowering programming through Eva's Village, their children are also supported through the childcare and education programs provided by Eva's Village. More than a safe place to live, Hope Residence provides compassion and community, and a sense of comfort and home to these deserving women and their children.
